FAQs
How soon do my flowers need to be preserved?
Flowers should be kept in water and delivered or shipped within 1–3 days of your event for the best results. The fresher the blooms, the better they will hold their shape and color during the preservation process. If your flowers arrive to us wilted or damaged we will communicate openly about replacing blooms and the cost to do so.How long does the process take?
From the time your flowers are received, the full process takes approximately 8–12 weeks. This allows for slow drying and careful hand-arranging to ensure a lasting keepsake. Will the colors look exactly the same as the original flowers?
Nope! Some natural color shift is expected during preservation. Whites may soften to ivory, reds and purples may deepen, and delicate petals may become more muted. These changes are part of the natural preservation process and give each piece its unique, heirloom quality.Do you offer local drop-off ?
Yes and it is preferred! Local drop-off is available in Santa Barbara by appointment. Upon purchase we will come up with a plan for getting your flowers to us!What is your policy if the finished piece is lost or damaged due to transit?
While your flowers are handled with great care, both nature and shipping can be unpredictable. In the unlikely event that your flowers or finished piece are lost or damaged in transit, I’ll remake your design using fresh blooms in a similar color palette and style.
Coverage applies within 30 days of your finished piece being shipped back to you.
A gentle note:
I’ll always do my best to recreate your piece beautifully, but I’m not responsible for the sentimental value of original flowers lost due to shipping issues.
What’s Not Covered
-Natural color changes that occur during the preservation process
-Shipping carrier delays or reimbursement claimsHow should I care for my finished keepsake?
Keep your piece out of direct sunlight and away from moisture or high humidity. With proper care, your preserved flowers will remain beautiful for many years. Pressed flowers inevitably fade or change color over time due to UV light exposure, moisture, and natural oxidation, often turning into muted, vintage, or amber tones. Can I add special items to my keepsake?
Absolutely! Ribbons, invitations, handwritten notes, or small personal items can often be included. Please mention any add-ons in your inquiry form so we can plan accordingly.
